David Jarrett apoya desde hace tiempo al Instituto Mises y asistió a las conferencias de Mises en la NYU en 1965, cuando se celebraban en el Nicholas Hall. El edificio ya no existe, pero las fotos que David tomó una tarde con su cámara Leica M3 y su teleobjetivo APO-Summicron-M 90mm f/2 ASPH aún siguen por aquí. Los negativos se han guardado cuidadosamente durante décadas y ahora David los ha donado generosamente al Instituto Mises:
