If you’re in the New Orleans area, join us for a hard-hitting event with none other than Judge Andrew P. Napolitano!

Dr. Walter Block welcomes us to Loyola University, on Saturday, February 15, from Noon - 4:00 p.m. Judge NapolitanoJeff Deist of the Mises Institute, and Cliff Maloney of Young Americans for Liberty will discuss the constitutional crisis in America today, from Trump and impeachment to the Electoral College to culture wars inflamed by the Supreme Court. You don’t want to miss it!

American politics is in crisis. Is this because of the Constitution, or in spite of it?

For many libertarians, the Constitution is a dead letter. Nobody alive today signed it or consented to it. And politicians ignored it almost from the beginning.

But for many others, the allure of constitutionalism remains strong. Surely the Founders’ hope for a system of checks and balances, federalism, and enumerated powers would be better than the mess we have today in Washington? Didn’t the Constitution create a limited federal government, and shouldn’t libertarians support it?

Yet, so many freedoms have been lost. Taxes and regulations choke us; undeclared wars go on endlessly, while government agencies run roughshod over us, spy on us, and manage our lives. Presidential overreach is out of control. And worst of all, political power is centralized in DC, with the states reduced to glorified federal counties.

What can liberty-minded people do, in the midst of this crisis? Our speakers will address this question, and more, in the context of the 2020 presidential election. It promises to be a special event you don’t want to miss!
