Inflation is galloping following covid lockdowns and extraordinary and unprecedented monetary policy of the past two years. Average people need to understand money and banking like never before if they hope to maintain their standard of living.

Dr. Robert Murphy has written an incredible book detailing everything you need to know about money and how it works in society: Understanding Money Mechanics. It explains how the Fed operates, how money and credit come into being, the history of gold and other money, how interest rates arise, and what it all means for you. Our discussion will center around the book and its application to today’s economy, with a keynote talk by Dr. Murphy and plenty of time for Q and A. Every attendee will receive a copy of the book, and Bob promises to sign your copy if you ask!

We will meet from 10AM-2PM on Saturday, May 14th for a great discussion and incredible Italian food.

The venue: Maggiano’s Little Italy, 9101 International Drive. Please note, venue space is limited for this event and we plan to sell out. Registration is required for attendance.

The registration fee of $40 includes the program, book, and plenty of Maggiano’s delicious dishes served family style for sharingplus of course cheesecake! We’ll have coffee and tea, sodas, and beer/wine on hand as well.
