Celebrate Murray’s 99th Birthday with Us!

Celebrate_Murray

Tomorrow would have been Murray Rothbard’s 99th birthday!

More people than ever consume Murray’s works on economic theory, history, and political philosophy, not only those in academia but the everyday man. People who follow the great UFC fighter Money Moicano have been encouraged to read Rothbard. His name is being spoken out loud in Washington, DC, and around the world. Vivek Ramaswamy says he’s learning from Rothbard. Javier Milei is too.

We’re happy these public figures are Murray Rothbard admirers, but they need to read more about Rothbard, and so does the rest of the world. Thanks to the Mises Institute’s donors, they can.

People worldwide can read most of Rothbard’s books for free on our website. There may never be another Murray Rothbard, but the Rothbardian tradition is strong today. We want to make it stronger.

Join us in celebrating Murray with copies of Economic Depressions: Their Cause and Cure, originally published in 1969, and Nations by Consent, originally published in 1994. Everyone who donates $26 or more today will receive these two Rothbard classics.

The first 26 donors will also receive our cool Rothbard lapel pin!

*US donors will receive physical copies of the booklets. International donors will receive electronic copies.

What is the Mises Institute?

The Mises Institute is a non-profit organization that exists to promote teaching and research in the Austrian School of economics, individual freedom, honest history, and international peace, in the tradition of Ludwig von Mises and Murray N. Rothbard.

Non-political, non-partisan, and non-PC, we advocate a radical shift in the intellectual climate, away from statism and toward a private property order. We believe that our foundational ideas are of permanent value, and oppose all efforts at compromise, sellout, and amalgamation of these ideas with fashionable political, cultural, and social doctrines inimical to their spirit.
