While I have not been able to slog through Ayn Rand’s “magnum opus,” perhaps adult worker bees have as scientists try to explain the massive disappearance of honey bee colonies in the United States and Europe.
Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) has been discovered in 27 American states, Croatia, Spain, Switzerland, Portugal, Turkey, Greece, Poland, Italy and Germany.
CCD is diagnosed when adult worker bees uncharacteristically abandon the hive, the queen and the young and disappear without a trace.
