Dr. Yuri Maltsev is a Soviet expatriate who worked as an economist in the Gorbachev era of “reforms.” He makes the strong case against what he terms “Crony Socialism,” detailing how politics, bureaucracy, and self-dealing monetary planners work against the cause of greater peace and prosperity.
