Hiroyuki Okon
Hiroyuki Okon is associate professor of economics at Wakayama University, where he teaches undergraduate micro and graduate history of economic thought, and is an adjunct scholar of the Ludwig von Mises Institute. His primary research area is the Austrian School, on which he has written nine published papers, in Japanese and English, that have appeared in Keizai Riron (The Wakayama Economics Review), Osaka Shindai Ronshu, and The Keizai Seminar. His specialties are the economics calculation debate, Hayek’s theory of social evolution, and the history of economic thought in Japan.
