Mathias Kühlcke is a third-year bachelors economics student at Ghent University in Belgium. With family roots in Argentina, where he also spent two formative years, he became fascinated by the economic forces that shape countries in such different ways. He has a particular interest in economic development, urbanism and transportation. Mathias speaks five languages, rows competitively, coaches youth rowing, and works part-time alongside his studies. In his free time, he enjoys cycling and indulging his lifelong fascination with trains and planes.
